In 123 B.C. came the Braenic live here. The old city was about 1 mile southwards of the old centre. The city was called "patria nova", what means "New Homeland", in Latin. This city didn't hold out for long, in 59 B.C. it was raidedby the Barbarians. Nothing left, but some people say, there's a treasure in the ground. Many people searched for it, but it was never found. Then, for a long time, nothing was build near the current city of Simvliet. But, in 1483, King Fredius III established the city of Simplebeet. Many farmworkers had their farms near this town. But, the tax was very high and many people lived in poverty. But, the people were happy with their few possessions. In the seventeenth century, People put themself together against King Fredius V and kicked him off the throne. Literally, because the strongest man in town, kicked him so hard, that he died. He didn't have offsprings, so all his possessions were inherited by his last wife, who was a slave when he got her. Her name was Sally Theodore-Downstead. She became queen of Simplebeet and surroundings. She was a better leader than her former husband and she married with the man who the king has slain. And by then, there are never more truly special things happened.
