The Rotterdam Metro Line was the first line of the Rotterdam Metro to open, back in 1968. It consisted of 7 stations and ran from Rotterdam Centraal to Zuidplein. This line section, together with the new station Wilhelminaplein which opened in 1997 (between Leuvehaven and Rijnhaven), is now part of lines D and E.
