- Is there a map for this train?
- How do I incorporate it into a map that is already online?

There are activities included to use it on line C and D in "Simvliet 2020", and of line M4 in "Rijndam 2022" and "Rijndam Metro 2022".
Other routes; just place it there in Explore mode, or make your own activity.

Couldn't the Amsterdam M5 run on the entire line D, as they have tiny pantohraphs (althought used for shunting into the depot)?
In this case, size does matter....

It can't reach higher then 4,7 meters above the track. And the default height in the simulator is 5 meters.
I just tried it. Love the train. Glad we have the (fictional) 5800 series.
Great work, Sjoerd!

Don't forget Supertrain_fan, who created the M5 train in Sketchup.... Without that work, this train would never have existed for the simulator.

Indeed! Very detailed model. I was also really surprised when I saw, how small that shunting panto is. When I first saw it, I said: *mimics TF2 heavy* "The panto, it is so tiny!" and then bursted out laughing

Here is the real one again;
It is only ment to be used at the Diemen depot, were overhead power supply is used to enter the maintenance workshop.
The only photo I could find of such a pantograph in use... This picture on the roof of a "Zilvermeeuw" train (type M1/M2/M3), which comes from a youtube video about the very last service of that traintype:

Hi Sjoerd,
The metro has been very successful. Love the model! I do wonder why it is not possible to do the realistic sounds in the metro as it has been done with the English?
