Noordplein Station History
Noordplein Station is the First of the three Stations on the New Line Known as Line A (Simvliet) with a Passing Loop with two Platforms.
Noordplein is the First Station of the Fifth Section which opens in 2006.
The Line Runs from Stadionweg, via This Station and Varenweg before Springstraat.
The Station is Protected with ZUB Protection System with Signals.
There is a Double Track Line between this station and Stadionweg due to a Drive Under at Stadionweg for Line A to Araplein (Simvliet 2020)
in 2013, Line A was Extended over the main Line to Simvliet Centrum via De Bergen

New Features at Noordplein
In Simvliet 2020 There is no single track, Instead there is a Double Track Line from Noordplein and Stadionweg due to a Drive under for Line A to Araplein.
