The London Underground 1973 Stock is a type of rolling stock used on the Piccadilly line of the London Underground. They normally run in either 6-car or 3-car formations. The more common 6-car formation consists of two driver motorcars, two trailercars, and two non-driver motorcars (actually; to 3-car formations coupled back to back, with one drivers cab each). A 3-car formation with two driver cabs, also known as a 'double ended unit', consists of two driver motorcars and one trailer car. These 3-car formations can run on their own, but can also service coupled with half of a 6-car train (for example, when the other half of it is in maintenance).
In Metrosimulator, a driver motorcar and a trailercar are available; you can make your consist as short or long as you like.
