Noordvliet is a station along line M1. It is a former railwaystation along the Rijndam Noorderpoort - Panbos railway, which was converted to metro operation in 2006. The former freight branch to the Noordvliet Wagenmakerstraat freightyard has been converted to a museumline (the freightyard itself having become home to the transport museum).
In 2018, Noordvliet once again became a trainstation, when a new railway along the north side of Rijndam was opened. Crossplatform interchange between trains and metro's is now possible.
