What I noticed, no matter what type of tram system, everyone is only allowed to travel individually.
However, outside of the tram zones you are allowed to travel in double traction. This is because there are no longer traffic light phases and the tram cannot be longer than 45 m or 30 m.
This is the case everywhere, be it Kassel, Karlsruhe or Chemnitz. According to an EU regulation, all of them cannot be longer than 30 to 45 m. Of course in our simulator this is possible, but we also have to go with reality.

In The Hague they used to run double traction in the inner city as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6304dBAW4OE
This has been suspended since the post-Corona budget cuts though. They can only run like this on line 4K which has been suspended, on lines 3, 3K, 4 and 34 the platforms do not support double units.
In Utrecht they do still run double traction trams.

And in the future there are plans that line 4 will run with double traction units. But the tram stops will have to be extended. I don't know if line 3 will also have double traction units in the future as well. All stations in Zoetermeer (including the ones where only line 3 stops) are long enough for double traction. It's the tram stops in The Hague that are not long enough. Lines 3k and 4k are the shorted version of lines 3 and 4. K stands for "Kort" which means short in Dutch.

If the RegioCitadis is out for MSB, if you re-install metro simulator, is it then standard in the sim?
