There is also Essim to be included there at some point, that would make the name even longer. Probably easiest would be to name it after a province instead of a city, and let all three cities be in the same province. Theoretically the province could be named Simvliet as well, like Utrecht, which is the capital of Utrecht

Probably west, since the only two rail connections that lead to outside the map are south and east, and south is the undersea tunnel towards Rijndam so no land there either.
