Personally, I could not agree more
- Likes London Underground
- Somehow relates anything to trains

I agree too. the Metro Simulator doesn't need passengers, otherwise the game could lag or crash on some computers

Indeed :D
I once made a pedestrian simulation of a trainstation (train platforms, subway platforms, and the passage below) during rushhour.... Every simulationrun, of a single peak hour, took the computer about 16 hours to calculate. But then again; that was with professional pedestrian simulation software, with up to +/- 5.000 pedestrians simulated at the same time (and ofcourse the trains). That was a total nightmare.... (due to the slow simulation speed, so each test took another day, and time restraints for doing it). Luckily, we have better computers now :D

There are only a few people creating maps, trains and objects. Most projects require a lot of time, and it is just a hobby.
And sometimes.... We are just in the mood for something else; do another project for a while before returning to earlier-started projects (and don't worry; I am already also looking at Rijndam 2022 v1.4 again, while working on the Class378).

(For real routes, there are 3 options now; Rotterdam (first line, as it was when it first openend), Glasgow Subway, and Toronto Streetcar.)

You mean Metro Simulator Alpha? That's a different build. The best thing about that build was that illuminated signals had representative textures. Basically, the lights actually resembled an incandescent bulb and potentially different types/styles of LED lights, like GE Harmon Fading LEDs for an example. I'd like to see custom light textures return.
