More like a teaser. In the next update the freight cars in the Simvliet route will no longer be fixed to the NS2200 and you can replace the cars in the activity files

Passenger trains as freight locos..nice idea...

But not a new one... When the German railways ordered the VT98 railbus (Schienenbus) trains, they were fitted with buffers and screw couplers with exactly this in mind; on very low intensity routes, just couple one or two freightcars behind the already running passenger train, instead of needing to run a separate train.
The earlier VT95 variant of the Schienenbus had automatic couplers... But they therefore could not take a freightcar along.

New tank wagons and container wagons no longer fixed to the NS2200 locomotive? About time, because we're stuck with the only silver containers.
I've noticed that NS2200 now have lights. Wonder if that's going to be drivable or is it still going to be AI?

You can already take over control if you want, although the 2200 has no cab. But in the activity file you can choose a different locomotive, just make sure it's a diesel one if you want to go to Zeerwijk

Looks like we're going to have plenty of freight wagons coming up.
Coal and petroleum wagons is definitely needed for the sim
