Re: Maximum train frequency?
so you didn't make an activity but still able to increase train frequency?
really, how? using those metro trains parked in depot?

He's either lying or he decoupled every train possible I think?

Re: Maximum train frequency?
Is Neither Uncoupled any train, Deploying extra Trains from the Railyard or I make the Activity, is those trains that were used on the timetable which use the trains means it was I only make 50tph, eight trains less than I originally said, sorry for lying.
Re: Maximum train frequency?
That shall be good if we could choose the intervals of the train
Re: Maximum train frequency?
The maximum train frequency isn't the maximum capacity of the tracks. It's the max number which are on line without wait after an other.
On the paris's first metro line (fully automatic) there's a train every 2 mins at rush hour. The train which arrives in station restarts few seconds after the opening of the exit signal
I don't see how we can increase the frequency without create a traffic jam...

Re: Maximum train frequency?
You can increase the frequency by making trains run slower. The main bottleneck is stations, to decelerate from 70km/h to 0km/h, stand still for 15 seconds and accelerate again until you are clear of the station it takes about 60 seconds. So with optimal signal placement, this is your maximum frequency when you want to keep the speed high. You can increase this slightly by introducing tailgating, the arriving train slows down to about 20km/h and enters the station while the departing train is leaving. This way you may be able to go as far as every 45 seconds, but since the speed around stations will be slower you lose about 20 seconds per station, which adds up to a couple of minutes for the whole main line.
