Re: Monorail
Nice. Are there any interlocking switches on the routes that allows for temporary single tracking for maintenance?

Here is the CVL map of the next part of the network. Yes, you could make such an activity...Sgt_DeBones wrote: ↑07 Sep 2025, 16:50 Are there any interlocking switches on the routes that allows for temporary single tracking for maintenance?

Edit: That's a huge yard. You better hope Rijndam's trams don't sneak into it. They just might be jealous they don't have a monorail..

Here's that depot, big enough for 10 4-car trainsets.

Re: Monorail
Hey, here's a request. At Expo. There's one way to reach 192, from 315. I think we should also add a track from 317 to 192 so that way, if you wanna terminate a rush hour extra on that track coming from Kōkai–Minato, you could do that without interfering with other trains.
Re: Monorail
I already looked into that; can't physically fit it in. At least now I have two tracks capable of reaching the depot, one of which also serves as a reversing track from the rest of the city.
When I created that track, 192, it was originally build as just a shunting track to move trains between depot-tracks, following the example of the 4th track at Bampakukinenkoen Station of the Osaka Monorail (look on the left, just after entering the station: https://youtu.be/FktRV6cWhkU?si=Cp_Yl2Qs4Xq9ta40&t=1136).
Later, I decided I wanted to use that track as a depot-entry track, where trains could arrive and wait to be taken in to the depot, without being in the way of trains who are still in service and need to continue towards the harbor. And the track leading into the depot from the station isn't suitable for that, as it is down hill, and trains running under AI don't react well to stopping/deactivating/reactivating on a slope.
So I made a track connection from 192 to 415/315, and added a platform to 192, so services could end there, and then either wait to get acces to the depot tracks or be reversed back into the city.
Now, I use track 192 to go into the depot, and track 192 or 416 to go into service from the depot.
Rush hour extra's just between Banpaku (Expo) and Kōkai–Minato (the harbor) wouldn't be very logical; they would more likely come from the Central Station.
I do have reversing trains as extra services between Banpaku (Expo) and Central Station. The reasoning: An event at the Expo ends, and lots of people want to go to the central station in a short amount of time, to take a train to go home.
And in the "Split Network" activity; just to provide a higher frequency on that section, as the reversing action at the Promenade station in that activity don't allow for more then 8 trains per hour (both directions on the same platform track there), and to even make that possible (both directions not being at that station at the same time in the timetable), the reversing time at the Harbor is already such that both reversing tracks are needed for those 8 trains per hour. So I could only fit in extra trains if they don't reverse at the Promenade station or the harbor, so only Central Station and Banpaku (Expo) remained as reversing locations.

I updated the Wiki page and included your line diagrams.

Re: Monorail
There is a worktrain activity too now; an evening transfer between the depot at Fubuki Station and the depot at Banpaku/Expo.
Ofcourse, you are free to take over and manually drive any other train in the network you like; they are just running the timetable until end-of-service for the day.
Or just sit back and have the AI do all the work.
Creating these activities also show small problems in the infrastructure. Like a non-functioning switch at the depot at Banpaku/Expo, an ATC malfunction on the line, or missing spawnmarkers at a station. This activity also got my attention on two of these problems, which have now been fixed.
If all goes well, I hope to be able to provide a release somewhere before the end of next week.

A Train that was borrowed from the depot was asked to return it by midnight.

Re: Monorail
Try experimenting with that yourself. I thought about it too but didn't try. Let us know the result.
