Is Metro Simulator compatible with consoles?
As the question states, can you use consoles on the simulator?

botheration...
Re: Is Metro Simulator compatible with consoles?
Hold on; are you talking about playing the sim on consoles, or using a console (as in a controller to drive the train.. e.g. raildriver) in the simulator? Because if it is the latter one, indeed you can.

Re: Is Metro Simulator compatible with consoles?
Latter. Yes, how did you know?
Re: Is Metro Simulator compatible with consoles?
Oh. Of course you can. You just need to bind controller's buttons and axes (plural of "axis", not plural of "axe") to certain functions.
I'll tell you, how I have it on my joystick.
Note: For clarity, I'm talking about the joystick primarilly used for flight sims. The idea is to simulate a single control lever, controlling both accelerating and braking, which is present in most vehicles (trams, metro-trains, EMUs, DMUs). My joystick has four buttons. Two are placed on the "face" of the joystick's "head," third is placed on the left side of joystick's "head," and the last and fourth one is placed on the back of joystick's "head," representing a trigger for weapons (for fighter jet sims). My joystick also has a small "roller" on it's left side, which is used as a throttle setting in flight sims. This one isn't used in Metrosim
By pushing/pulling joystick away/to me, The vehicle accelerates/brakes. The more I push/pull joystick, the more vehicle accelerates/brakes.
By pressing the buttons on the joystick's "face" of the joystick's "head," I open doors. Left button opens left door. Right button opens right doors.
By pressing the button on the left side of joystick's "head," I close all doors.
By pressing the button on the back of joystick's "head," I confirm deadman/vigilance, if security system requires it. Formerly I used this button to sound horn/ring. But I later changed it to confirm deadman/vigilance, since before that change, I had to let go of the joystick to press "confirm deadman/vigilance" key, which posed a risk of losing control over the vehicle.
Note: Moving joystick sideways has no effect in Metrosim.
If you want to make a very fast ride, just disable ATB/ZUB, put trottle to 1.00 and enjoy.

Can you function it as a camera thing too?
