Due to an shunting accident at the Airport depot, which damaged two trains less than two weeks ago, there is currently a shortage in Be 8/8 trains for the Airportshuttle. To keep the timetable and to avoid using replacement buses until both trains have been repaired, the Airport Authority decided to borrow the BOA train from the Transport museum, who is normally using it on the Museumline.
The BOA is seen here on May 31st 2023 at 12:27 at P40 station, about to depart to P10 station after waiting for the train to Terminal 4, who arrived a few seconds ago and is operated by a Be 8/8.
The BOA is supposed to return to the Transport museum in three weeks, after the damaged Be 8/8 have been repaired and returned to service.
