Metro Simulator Crashes on opening

Hi all,

I've just bought a new PC and tried to install Metro Sim 3.16 on it. I've been playing for years on other machines (with considerably worse specs) with no trouble.

After installing, when I go to open the game, I get the normal grey screen, but then the program abruptly closes before reaching the menu. If anyone could help solve this issue I would be very grateful!

this is due to a problem coming from direct x, please download direct x via this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/downloa ... aspx?id=35
