It doesn't look very comfortable to drive but I assume those controls will only be used for shunting.

It's the automatic version. Those controls will not be used in normal service.

This probably is unrelated to the Glasgow add-on, but, will the next version of the sim improve the way the throttle handle moves? Until now the animated handle actually reacts to what the train is doing (accelerating or decelerating) instead of reacting to the inputs of the player.

Only Michiel can answer that. I hope it becomes possible (the variable I would need to program the controls correctly isn't available at the moment), but that will also mean I'll have to make updates to a lot of trains...

Does the Glasgow Subway have its own equivalent of London Underground's battery locos? Locomotives that actually fit the gauge of the tunnels.
