Re: A new metro carriage
Why is in the SG3, HSG3 in the middle part of the train a other Metro network map as in the first And last carriage?
It isnโt Simvliet, Rijndam and Rotterdam,
But which map is it

Re: A new metro carriage
the picture below can only be from Simvliet, these are lines A, B and C. It only looks the other way round

I just wanted to show the differents
Itโs logical that the second is Simvliet

Can I just ask: What software do people use when they create custom trains?
Re: A new metro carriage
I use Sketchup to build the initial train model. Then I export/import its components (body, bogies, axles, doors) as separate objects to Milkshape 3D, where I do the final texturing and preparing it for Metrosimulator.
After that, the next step is exporting the files for the simulator, an writing scripts to tell the simulator how to load the components into a functional train, the animations, etc.
This isn't a quick proces; one train takes easily 2-3 weeks of work, and that is if I work on it multiple hours per day, every day.

Interesting. It was clear to me that it really takes so long
