You can place it anywhere. I placed it in the Downloads folder. Once you have downloaded DirectX, you can just launch the sim after.

Listen, the reason for the problem you described can be another: namely the virus chromesearch.win from Chrome, Firefox and IE :arrow:

Cause he’s probably a spam user, who wants to promote an antivirus. What does a virus about Chrome, Firefox or Edge have to do with Metro Simulator? Simple answer: nothing.
