On the occasion of the release of the new Paris metros, I've decided to revisit some of the Alstom metros on Simvliet first, in an alternate universe where rubber tyred metros are also used on regular metro lines.

Here is an ex-Parisian MP89CC set on line C. This set was transferred to Simvliet in 2020 following a shortage of rolling stock caused by the recent Lightrail and the extension of Line C.

Here you can see the reforming of ex-Santiago NS74 cars. Simvliet received 4 end cars and 2 middle cars for the museum shuttle in 2019, however due to the lower demand, the two former 3-car sets are reformed into a 2-car set, while the remaining cars will be stored indefinitely.

After the level crossing before Zeerwijk station, the trains towards Strandboulevard get a 10 limit of speed, causing delays. It is the second time this happens.

My train was the 4121EV.

I turned off the ATB, in order to reach the Zeerwijk station and cancel the service from there.

And yes, I pressed the 'tab' key to ask for the green signal.

Another issue I found... The destination boards on the class 378 downloaded from the wiki aren't working.

It seems you are driving in RET ATB mode, Simvliet Lightrail uses ZUB. The reason you can reach Zeerwijk is that this part uses dual signalling for the freight train, but as the freightrain branches off here the dual signalling ends.

Does it mean it's not a good idea run class 378 on line D?

There was a time when trains ran there without restrictions.

Looks like the zub no longer works on one of the two cabins I just tested, I thought I was the only one with this problem. @Sjored you can take a look ?

I see the problem (just did a testdrive....).
I haven't got a clue why this happens at the moment, as all settings seem to be right; it should just switch to ZUB as soon as the first ZUB222c trackmagnet is passed.
So for now.... Just switch the train to tripcock-mode (press A). That will allow you (and the AI) to drive, as Tripcock doesn't limit your speed.
