rain textures are difficult to get right and can very hit and miss. many non freeware games struggle with getting this texture correct. id rather not have them if they will be rubbish.

I don't know if weather features are planned in 3.16 (I'm almost sure they won't be there) but I've looked in 000-files and they are somes lines seems to relate weather parameters.

but if you added rain I could imagine that the game would lag because the raindrops would have to be calculated and yeah

How do you even look inside the 000 files? Extracting them with something like 7zip doesn't work and opening them with a text editor like Notepad++ just gives weird characters and stuff (like archives have). But again, 7zip can't open it.

You cannot open this file by an archive manager, but you can open it by notepad ++, in some places in the file there are visible lines. But the rest remains a mystery
