Took a photo twice (had to be done on exactly the very same spot and angle!). One taken while being coupled to a freight wagon, uncoupled and shunted the wagon away, then take another one without the wagon. Then I put part of the picture of the uncoupled train onto the image of the coupled train. I had to de-saturate the coupling area, after that the picture was completed. So its just an edited screenshot.

It is not possible to turn off the lights in Metro Simulator.

Of course you can always do the trick of separating two coupled trains with a manual switch :D

You can only do that with a manual switch. After the first carriage passes the switch, change it so the second carriage will follow the other track.
In the case above, I put the second carriage back to the original track using a second switch but the distance between the two carriages remained.
