Button Combo Ideas
I just thought about a way to open the crew doors on light rail/metro vehicles. Why not use CTRL or SHIFT + Del/End for opening just the front doors alone? I know most European metro systems swap motormen at stations but if there's a future NA route (besides Toronto), it would be great to open the crew doors when roleplaying the swapping of operators as us Americans does the swapping at OMSF yards via a motorman platform. I'd also like to RP said scenery beforehand anyway.

Don't we already have Shift+X and Ctrl+X?

No. I meant for the first passenger doors. We call them crew doors in the US since our light rail vehicles doesn't have a dedicated exterior cab door.
Shift/Ctrl + X is for special animations. I wouldn't consider the front passenger doors to be special. Those combos should be used for windshield wipers and the interior cab door only imo.

Re: Button Combo Ideas
I'd rather see a dedicated button to open random passenger doors.
Re: Button Combo Ideas
Or if you'd unlock the doors you'd be able to click the button on the door so it opens.
Re: Button Combo Ideas
You have a +1 on that. I think this is most needed because, for example, on the MVG Type A, the doors are opened manually by the passengers, and having a button to open doors manually would be more realistic.

I rule RSG3's suggestion is superior than Luka23's.
