Train Suggestion - Class 802 From the UK
Heres a suggestion i hope yall can like and i wish that could be futurely implemented
Type of Train - Bimode Multiple Unit - Both Diesel and eletrical & Fully Eletrical Version
Country of Service - UK
Name: Class 802
Year of Introduction in Real LIfe 2018/2019
Top speed 201 Kmph / 125 Mph - Wikipedia source
Tractive Power: Diesel Power (V12 Engine) / Eletrical Power via a Pantograph
Number of Cars : 5
Now this is could be quite a interesting addition to the family of trains that we have available for us , BUT i believe that there is room for improvements and add-ons , sooo this might be a curve ball , i noticed that UK section of trains seems a bit empty and left out and also the only "high speed" train we got ... so far ... is the HSM , unless you grab the the TRAXX or NS1700 and speed it down the HSL or Tunnel.
Now why do i think this could be a nice addition to the family? i think this could be a fun little challenge to the dev to come with a solution to get the bimode working with the usage of both diesel and eletrical power it can pretty much go anywhere (provided it can fit ofc no not the tramways please LOL) and also a New Highspeed train - and sorta reviving the UK/London Section after the addition of the Class 47.
Thank you for reading this

if you can find a good 3d warehouse model, you may have a chance to see that train in Metro Simulator, otherwise not.

I see where you're coming from but is there really a need for this? I don't see any use with the IET fleets in Metro Sim

Re: Train Suggestion - Class 802 From the UK
I've actually found 2 rather good models on 3dwarehouse, not the Class 802 but rather the Class 800 "bi-mode" and the Class 801 trains. They can be found at:
Class 800:
9 Car Set:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... s-8003-GWR
5 Car Set:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... s-8000-GWR
Class 801:
9 Car Set:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... -8012-LNER
5 Car Set:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... -8011-LNER
I understand that this is a metro simulator but it might be a good fleet to work on as there are plenty of real life photos and liveries to work with given that we have Rijndam Railways on the game itself. Just a suggestion...
Of course all credits go to the person who created these amazing models on 3dwarehouse!

I usually say stop asking for stuff but these are great even if we don't have a route for them they would still be great

Cheers Fellas for the good feedback on this , i was thinking i was going to be shutdown in a negative way so quickly lol
- now to the answers
trains 500 in terms of routes all i see is a sorta express train from Simvliet Centraal to strandboulevard ( i hope i am not mispronouncing it), or from Simvliet Centraal to Delfsbaak
also i have to thank mavericklimze for the finding those 3d models for the class 800/801

What's the point though, I'm British and yeah I've travelled on 802s many times. But what is the point. Firstly it is a Metro Simulator and there isn't really a route for it.

The models are alright but as piccadilly said, its not really fit with a game like this
Re: Train Suggestion - Class 802 From the UK
Meanwhile Sjoerd has built an entire NS route with a channel tunnel and high-speed lines in Rijndam 2022
