Epping-Ongar Railway

Do you want to be able to run tube trains on the line to Ongar again?

Yes, from Epping to Ongar, so occiasional tube trains, or 'full-tube-service' are possibilities.

Yes, but only halfway; no further then North Weald.

No, I'd rather have it un-electrified as is exists in reality.

There's a 1992 Tube Stock in 3D Warehouse:

Tracks were already in place, so it is mostly scenery that needs work.

Around 70-80% scenery done, and signalling installed. Due to the extension, the temporary reversing switch I mentioned earlier at Theydon Bois (needed to reverse there if the route ended there) was removed again.
Amazing work, Sjoerd. ;) If we can wait more days, maybe we can get the line finnished to Loughton, or perhaps to Woodford, if not, I think to Debden is also enough, and in the future, you can work on new extensions.

Ever since I started on Epping-Ongar.... a lot of you keep bugging me about the 1992 stock...
Fine... :roll: I have started on it.
Too bad these models almost never come with a driver cabin interior, so that needs to be build from scratch.

Can someone tell me; out of the headlights; I know the outer two are the tail lights, the middle two are the headlights.... but what are the inner two (the orange and dark red one)? I can not find any picture of those being in use.

Orange is the Calling On Light which comes on when a train is in a restricted mode Such as Forward (train can only go 10kph) and Reverse. It flashes aswell. The Darker red i would assume is the emergency light for when track evacuation or track work needs to happen.

Edit: I believe im wrong with the darker red one, infact thats a stabling light that is on when the train is stabled

Does someone have a good picture of the bogies of the 1938 stock, where I can see at least the main details?
I can't find a good one on internet

Progress;

Started testdriving on Debden - Epping v.v. in order to test the installed tripcock train protection, measure travel times, and build the first activity (using 1996 stock for now).

Meanwhile, the driver cab for the 1992 stock is taking shape;

I found these today, thought they were pretty cool. They would fit right in, in Thames.
