Game crash on City of Thames

I am not sure if anyone else is running into this but I have been getting notifications that some sort of memory cannot be read, hence the only solution is to terminate the game. Anyone please help!

Your specs look good. Try to reinstall by re-downloading the simulator via this link

Make sure the simulator is in the same file as these files, I recommend you make shortcuts if you want to open the simulator from other locations

These two files are installed with the simulator, and must be present in the main directory of the simulator. To fix this problem you will need to re-download and re-install the simulator.

This happens with DirectX sometimes. It happened to me when I installed an addon and it had overwritten some files for some reason. I've reinstalled the simulator and it was fixed again. OpenGL would be an alternative to DirectX (and also add macOS and Linux support) but since the sim is made with DirectX, we'll have to deal with binaries being broken some times. Nothing is a permanent fix for broken binaries, it can always happen.
