Almost. the 700 series is 10 km/h faster than the 800 series, longer, has one extra seat, and a different cabin but the same molds. And their motors are different. The 700 series have an AC motor and the 800 series have a DC motor

And the maker of this animation got something wrong. Tussenwater - Marconiplein was not opened in 2000 but 2 years later (2002).

The first 4 trains from this series only need the pantograph (S3 nr. 70-73). The other ones (74-106) dont have them (M4).

Well.. NGL, to me, Amsterdam S1/S2 looks like a bulky cousin of Amsterdam 11G/12G trams, which is equipped with 3rd rails shoes. Maybe the design of Amsterdam S1/S2 was inspired by Amsterdam 11G/12G trams (or maybe vice versa, IDK). Also, the fact, the Amsterdam S1/S2 was "an answer" for ...
