Re: Epping-Ongar Railway

I'm not doing anything at the moment. Just got a new laptop, so busy transferring files from the old one to the new one, installing software which doesn't go as smoothly as I'd like, and all the while also navigating a high workload at work. I expect a little more free time in about two weeks, but I...

Re: Backup for Ferrocarril

They are not made with reskinning in mind. Below is the texture file for the Elevador da Gloria vehicles. They are basically created with the "these selected area's on the model are yellow" method. In order for a vehicle to be repaintable, I need to create a texture file which matches the ...

Re: London Underground New Rolling Stock [For City of Thames]

Question: 1. Since 2025, there is a new deep-level tube trains, the 2024 Stock. If there is a 3D Model of the 2024 Stock, can it will be used in the Simulator in the future, Replacing the 1973 Stock? There is. The model on the image below was made (not by me) when the plans for the "NTFL"...

Re: Elevador da Gloria

Yes, the overhead wires are electrified in the simulator. And yes, as far as I could find out, they are indeed "trolleybus style". But I also read somewhere they have a secondary function, for sending signals between both vehicles (probably to send some sort of "ready for departure&qu...

Re: Elevador da Gloria

Yes, the pantographs are fixed in the simulator. This is mostly due to practical reasons; the animation of the pantographs, which also enables them to follow the overhead wire height, is part of the coding of the simulator itself (which I cannot acces). I cannot animate it the same way as I would an...

Re: DLR Trains

For now, there are already driverless trains in the simulator; the Paris Paris MP89CA, Lausanne Be 8/8 TL (with the Lausanne metro route), and the Glasgow 3rd generation trains (also with their own subway map in the simulator).
