Please upload the files themselves (the ACT & CTD files you are using to run the simulation) if you'd like me to analyze the problem (so I don't have to sort everything out and save into separate files before I can even open the simulator).

Switch off your cab after arriving at the station. Go to the other end of the train. Activate again. Set a path in the CVL, going to the other track at the first junction.....

Upload the files you have made here, so we can take a look. Describe what happens at what eaxct moment on what exact place, and what you think should be happening instead. Then we can take a look and see what's the problem.

Yes, exactly. And there was room to add more destinations then strictly required, so I added a few intermediate stations where reversing is also a possibility.

You can always make a modified CTD file with different route settings at the junctions yourself for your activity.

The first train of the old fleet leaves the depot, as the new trains are entering service.

Just give your train a trainnumber (the destination letter at the end) leading to a destination which you can reach without reversing the train on-route.
