Metro simulator forums

English/Dutch is not my concern here, I mainly want to get rid of the sub-forums that are more than one level deep in the hierarchy. Often people post bugs in the main forum because the 'bug reports' subforum is not visible on the main page but only shows as a sub-forum after you go to the 'beta tes...

Because most of the subforums are barely used, I'm thinking about getting rid of some of them, leaving just announcements, general and bugs in the English section. Any opinions about this?

We could always have both, like NS_DDAR_7300.xml, NS_DDAR_7400.xml and NS_DDAR_7800.xml (7300, 7400 and 7800 were the numbers used for these different compositions, 7300/7400 being the ones with the 1700 and 7800 with the mDDM).

According to the overview from ProRail, DDM1 is 26,4 as well (with the driving car being 26,9).

Simvliet - Essim - Hageningen has 250 meter platforms, 1700+ABv+Bv+Bv+Bvk + Bvk+Bv+Bv+ABv+1700 is 247 meters so that should fit, assuming the model is the correct size of course. But you can always combine the two and have 1700+ABv+Bv+Bv+Bvk + Bvk+Bv+ABv+mABk which should be 224 meter long.

This test told me that if you want to run with coupled DD-AR trains to Rijndam Airport, you should choose trainsets with the 1700-locomotive. These are slightly shorter, and two of them should just fit the platform (the consist on the screenshot was just a bit too long). Actually the main formation...

Maybe the freight train was broken down and this was the nearest 'locomotive' that could pull it away to clear the tracks?

You're right, some stations were initially constructed as a placeholder with no exits and were later remodeled when we knew the correct positions for these exits, but in the process the configuration for the third rail was lost at these stations. Will be corrected in the next update.
