Re: Glasgow

All the addons in Train sim have so little effort put into them, and then are slapped with a €30 price tag and sold to fans. Are you aware that not all TS addons are made by DTG, right? I know a lot can be said about their quality control (cough TSW cough) but some third party devs, like the one ma...

Re: Glasgow

I honestly didn't expect such negative response. I'm excited to be honest. I don't want to imply this will serve as a "replacement" for Sjoerd's work. I doubt it will have as much content as the route for Metro Sim, but I'm still happy to see the Shoogle represented in Train Simulat...

Re: Screenshots & Videos

Find odd that it took this long for deep tube trains to get things like air conditioning, or Jacobs boguies as I see. I guess it's hard to engineer those things onto trains designed for such a small clearance.

Re: Cable car

I do wonder if someday we could get a "classic" rendition of Glasgow, when it was cable hauled. Although that one didn't have any switching opportunities, as the depot was isolated from the tracks via a crane.

Re: Screenshots & Videos

In my city (Buenos Aires) we have a subway depot that used to be a tram depot. The A line (entirely underground) is connected to this depot via a ramp and tram tracks, which are also used by an organization that does tram rides on historical stock, also based at this depot. For subway trains to reac...

Re: Simtra line with KTM Citylink and FGV2500

Glad to know I was an incentive to fix a bug of the game :D Although I'm still having issues myself. I could make the trams start on their own from the depot (by adding " <dieselengine on="true"/> " and " <pantographs raised="true"/> " to the line of each KTM ...

Simtra line with KTM Citylink and FGV2500

I'm trying to create my own activity for the Simtra line, replacing the older stock for both services. The railway seems to be a non-issue, the new FGV2500 are a simple replacement and work right out of the box. But the trams are giving me trouble. They are much larger than the old trams, so I had t...

Re: Beta 3.17

Even more trams? I hope something gets done to fix the sounds bug (trams go silent when there are too many nearby) because it kinda pushes me away from playing on the new version of Simvliet with the activities we already have.

Re: Glasgow

The activity now works, but I found a bug with the Gen 3 trains that I think did not exist in the previous version of the sim. The new trains have no headlight glow at all. I like to drive the Glasgow Subway with the lights turned off using the switch at Govan, but the train headlights and taillight...
