That's because the track at that crossover is not connected. Look closely at it; you will see a small gap in the tracks.
Try it from the other track, on the right of the screenshot (going straight on the switch). It works there (even though you will be driving straight trough the 3rd rail
)

Both switches are out of service, you are not supposed to be driving there. If you want to go from metro to train track, you have to head towards the unprotected and non-electrified tracks at the back. And no, there is no easter egg here, there is a rather cruel one hidden some distance from Simvliet Haven though.

Well, I just pressed J button to change the switch when passing it...
Thanks to the track in the right of screenshot (SVH3) I finally could going to train tracks.
In the future there will be services from Simvliet Haven to Simvliet Centraal?

I think I know what the easter egg is.

If you mean the ducks in the abandoned track, it’s too obvious to be just the ducks. It’s something else… Something related to the announcement I made in the “I’m a Simvliet Citizen” topic.

I was catching the train at Oostpark and I saw this one, from Bergpark... Now the main depot at Simvliet it's empty.
The station officer said it will run on the 16h30 C Line service, from Lelywaard to Simvliet Airport. The only unit from this series on this line...

At 5600 series maps on inside weren't from Simvliet nether Rijndam... Rotterdam metro, right?
