Metro simulator forums

So, I just downloaded the new cable car route, and then, I tried to run the simulator, in order to test it.

However, when I click in the simulator, it just appears this error. I reinstalled the game, and also DirectX, but the problem persists.

Anyone knows how can I solve my problem?

For those who don't understand portuguese, it says the application couldn't start correctly, then, it asked to click in "OK", in order to close the program.

Thanks. I followed every steps mentioned in this article, but nothing worked.

Did anyone else suffered this situation? If yes, how did you solve it?

I doubt those sites ever work. Their goal is to lead you to the last step which is usually a promotion for something (ChromeOS in this case) so they probably on purpose give "solutions" that don't work. Also, you can spot something's fishy because of the line "the entire Windows way of doing things – with locally installed programs and local file storage – is totally outdated." which is totally wrong and also from a site that sells a Windows locally installed program

So, has anyone found a great solution for my problem?

Are there any options in the game to make it run perfectly?

Please, help me, if possible... Even with updates, the game doesn't work.

Been a long while since I posted here but I also have the same problem. Tried reinstalls, using different links and different browsers to get the file (in case installer was corrupted, had it happen with other apps) and it doesn't appear to work.


EDIT: Day 2 of trying different things, tried adding exception to antivirus for fresh reinstall of metrosimulator, still not starting...

Have you reinstalled DirectX? Usually that works.

Okay, if would help troubleshooting here are my specs:
Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB RAM, RTX3060ti

I'm out of ideas at this point, and I don't know if there's anything else I can do :/
