Dear God, the amount of polygons on that model! I think not.

It has a nice shape, and could be a possible future thing, but it needs a hell of a lot of work..... I have other things I'd be more interested in.PetttRocket wrote: ↑03 Jan 2020, 20:12 https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... etro-Praha

Finish the train in Sketchup, break it up in separate components (bogies, wheels, exterior walls, interior walls and objects, doors), export/import those to Milkshape 3D, there they need re-texturing as the simulator will not accept the build-in colors from Sketchup (and other modifications), then export each component to X-format (the DirectX file format), write XML scripts for each component, then combine the X-files and XMLs into Meshes the simulator can read, and write another XML to combine the components into a train and animate it (also in XML script).
Oh, not to forget.... Also build a fully functioning driver cabin, wich also can take 1-2 weeks or so....
And finally; package it all into a 000-file for you all to download, and write an instructions-file for installation which almost nobody actually reads

Re: MVG Type A with pantograph
I have a bug.
When you want to put up or down the pantho on A29, it will only take the pantho, on which train you are, what means that the train is very slow in acceleration with one pantho.

Hi
Re: MVG Type A with pantograph
That is not a bug. As this train type in reality does not have a pantograph, information about it is not transmitted through the couplers. And as I only put in a single A29 unit in the simulator, there was no need to add the code to transmit that information.
