I reversed the animation of the Sneltram level crossing barrier. Yes, it is automatic; the barrier opens when you approach it, and it closes after you have passed it.
In reality, the TTC explains that the vehicles have been fitted with transponders to activate the barriers. For the simulation, I am using detectors to get the same effect, but placed in a way that they are not visible.

Is it the intention that it stays with 1 tram line or will there be a 1 or 2 lines with the route?

There will be 510 and 511 AI-services as far as there are tracks for them in this network (which concentrates on line 509).

Maybe you should make the TTC subway system? To my knowledge and memory, there is a good part that is underground with some unique median running sections, a cool bridge where the subway is under a road and over a gorge and then there is two light rail lines, one under construction and another in planning. Plus, there is the cool open gangway trains (Toronto Rocket), the first of its kind in North America.

I can give a help to Sjoerd... ;)

The "Toronto Rocket" Subway Train 3D model, made by wyliepoon. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... bway-Train

There is also another model, with a subway station, also made by wyliepoon... https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/ ... ay-Station

Perhaps T2P Films Developments also has something for the subway.

Yes, I have also seen those models. ;)

For the moment, I am concentrating on the 'streetcar', which is still a lot of work :)

(Overwrite earlier files if you already use the Toronto Flexity/CLRV/ALRV.)

Enjoy! ;)
