Re: Toronto
Well since that's the case, I'm glad that the trolley wires made it in the simulator as for by the time the editor is open to the public in the year 9999, I will be able to use that on the LACMTA Blue Line between DTLA-Washington and Willow-DTLB segments (as those are the street median running sections of the line).

Re: Toronto
Yes, it turned out pretty well
(Location: Fleet Loop)
But still; the simulator does not support trolleys. So pantographs have to be used.

Re: Toronto
That perfectly fine (in my personal opinion) as none of the LACMTA stock uses trolley poles.
But for Toronto and other heritage railways, yes that is a con.

Re: Toronto
Just to clarify, it is not trolleys. Its 'Trolley Pole.' Trolley can refer to a tram or an electric bus, or the cart on an airplane. Trolley pole is the connector pole that is used on Trolley Busses and many old PCCs, like at Muni where I work.
SFMTA does not know how to run a metro system or light rail or streetcar.
Re: Toronto
That all depends who you are talking to. Over here, the trolley is just the bit that's on the roof, not the whole vehicle.
I know Americans do it differently, but not me
I won't go further then to call it a "streetcar" just when talking about Toronto, as I find that also to be an incorrect term (after all; that term also applies to any personal car, as they also run on the streets). It's just a bit more acceptable then naming an entire vehicle after just one antique component.

Not in NA.
Dang, at this point, every term is different.

Re: Toronto
It's practically ready. It just needs testing in 3.15

Re: Toronto
So if that's the case, will it be built in if testing is successful? But then again, it is a tram route.
I'm excited!
