Great to see NS-93 getting finished, that would be great on the Rijndam Airport Shuttle route.
And ain't CAF UT-440R a broad gauge train??

Yes, that is a broad gauge train (1674mm). But that one isn't being finished for Metrosimulator (as far as I know).

It isn't fit for service yet, but at least it has reached the stage where the first functions can be tested on the track, one by one, as they are build in.

I'm guessing this train won't fit on the airport shuttle

I can include a shorter variant for that line.
And as 3.16 will require a new Rijndam release anyway to make it compatible.... I can take the opportunity to convert line M6 (a nice standalone line in the network) to the "Materiel Pneu" system, just like the airport shuttleservice.

When you realise that all your M6 activities will break. Amazing tho, love another tire track line.Sjoerd wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 11:38 I can include a shorter variant for that line.

Re: WIP Projects: CAF UT-440R and GEC-Alsthom NS-93
Not really.... The normal tracks aren't removed, as MP-trains still use them for emergencies (in case of deflated tires) and guidance in switches. And this video proves that "Materiel Fer" (the normal steel-on-steel system) trains can still run on lines converted to "Materiel Pneu"; metro station Cité (under the island there the Notre Dame is located) is on line 4, an "MP" line: https://youtu.be/kyCXHF0OGEEperfecttrains1000 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 12:10 When you realise that all your M6 activities will break.

Perhaps a shorter variant for the Airport Shuttleservice could be painted in 'Rijndam Airport Shuttleservice' livery, like MCV 9200 MP AT did.
And I think the M6 Line conversion to "Materiel Pneu" system would be a great idea, that line is inspired by Paris Metro anyway.
