Not really.... The normal tracks aren't removed, as MP-trains still use them for emergencies (in case of deflated tires) and guidance in switches. And this video proves that "Materiel Fer" (the normal steel-on-steel system) trains can still run on lines converted to "Materiel Pneu"; metro station Cité (under the island there the Notre Dame is located) is on line 4, an "MP" line: https://youtu.be/kyCXHF0OGEE ;)
Yeah I realised that after posting it :)

Will this require MSB 3.16 or it could potentially be released in the current version? Looks like you're in the final steps of the building ;)

Don't forget the fans on the roof. These trains also have fans on the roof. but it's not so important.

Then it would be 4 in 1; the RATP has both a driver-version as an automatic version (currently in operation on Paris lines M1 and M14). Luckily, only the interior is different between the two versions.
So if you save the exterior and interior separately, we can make combinations;
  • Santiago exterior, Driver operation interior.
  • Paris exterior, Driver operation interior.
  • Paris exterior, Automatic operation interior.
  • Lausanne exterior, only end-carriages, Automatic operation interior.
And yes; that looks like a great start!
Great work Sjoerd!
But, do you know plan 4 trains blocks (4 trains no separable)(ex1) or we can adjust the length as we want? (ex2)

Code: Select all

 Ex1
 <consist start="NWH0" >
 <train pack="Alstom" file="MP89CC.xml" />
 </consist>
<!-- NWH0 is Nowhere platform 0 -->
Or Ex 2
<consist start"NWH0">
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_cab_CC" />
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_wag" />
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_wag" />
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_wag" />
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_wag" />
<train pack="Alstom" file="MP89_cab_CC" reversed="true" />
</consist>

If I ask, it's because I would prefer the 2nd choice because is more customizable.

Still a long way to go;
  • The drivers desk is not functional yet (lot of work).
  • The vehicle numbers are not on yet
  • No internal lights yet
  • Still different length variants to do
  • After Santiago version, Paris versions need to be made, and a version with shorter lenght for the Rijndam Airportshuttle
Not sure on the version yet.

With the parts I have, I am now planning these variations:
  • Santiago exterior, Driver operation interior (6,7,8 car combinations).
  • Paris exterior, Driver operation interior (5,6 car combinations).
  • Rijndam Airportshuttle, Driver operation interior (3 or 4 car combination; probably 3... or 4 if that fits the stopmarkers on the line).

Hehe, that's not the same model, MP05 design is based on MP89 (/NS-93) but is very different on a lot of technical aspects.

Today I have added the vehicle numbers on the outside, and illuminated line diagrams and adds on the inside.
These banners should become repaintable.... ;)
