In Simvliet Line C can go driverless, but lines A and B maybe not because of railroad crossinsg and that's dangerous (except if they built tunnels which is very expensive).

If people can build self driving cars then they can build a train that can cross the road.

Actually, Senjer has given the most correct answer: All trains on the game are driverless, actually. They all have AI and can be programmed. The MCV 9200 MP AT trains, just enhance the experience, by not having a driver's cabin.
