Hi guys,

My PC arrived and I thought it would be good to play Metro Simulator, I was greeted with the message SimulatorBeta.exe / MetroSimulator 0.5 BETA 3.10 has stopped working. I read the BETA 3.10 FAQ but I am stuck. Every time, I download the Download the compatibility package for old Direct X Versions I am confused on where to put the files and if I need to extract them to the Metro Simulator file. Can someone help me, please?

Thanks

Could you post the specs of your PC?

How are you still on 3.10 anyway? Try 3.11 and if it has the same problem, report back immediately.

Hi, it happens with 3.11 as well, as 3.10.

After some googling I found that build 10586 is not the most recent Windows build, do you keep your pc updated? (or do you perhaps have an illegal Windows?)

I don't think so as I have the windows 7 license key. I have just updated my windows 10.

It tells me to download the compatibility package for DirectX on the FAQ or is that only for 3.10, I tried 3.11 and it still comes up with the same message.

If Beta 3.11 crashes, the Windows crash message refers to it as Beta 3.10. Probably, Michiel forgot to change the version number inside the .exe file.

Is there any fix to this?
