Hmmm. Maybe Konstal and Tatra Smíchov cooperated in the past, but who knows.
No problem. Just raise the panto, set direction to "Ra" and speed up until you go off the brigde ramp. Then stop, wait for bridge to lower down and you're ready to go.
Now we have the reason why I was stuck for 2 hour and 25 minute.brozma wrote: ↑25 Aug 2018, 21:08No problem. Just raise the panto, set direction to "Ra" and speed up until you go off the brigde ramp. Then stop, wait for bridge to lower down and you're ready to go.
BTW in my PU (parallel universe) there was an unusual campagin in Rijndam made by Dutch National Police. Because of massive inflow of members of several criminal gangs and mafia members into Rijndam, Dutch National Police with cooperation and approval of mayor of the Rijndam (Sjoerd Ydema), set up this: on bridge between Deallertweg and Rijndamsebaan there were build a temporary checkpoints. If a tram was approaching the bridge (but wasn't in Deallertweg or Rijndamsebaan stop yet), the brigde was raised, completely blocking tram's path. When driver approached raised bridge he/she had to stop near checkpoint. He/she was then asked by a 1st (supervising) cop to open a door and let the checking cop (2nd one) to enter the tram and check identity of passengers, if wanted person was detected, he/she was taken out of tram, arrested and taken to the nearest police station for interrogiation. After few minutes, in either case (If wanted person was found in tram or not) the driver has clearance to go, bridge was lowered and tram could continue going. In case of something dangerous (or if someone flees from the tram) there was a 3rd (guarding) cop equiped with assault rifle, ready to step in. The brigde was chosen strategiccaly to disallow tram to continue going before it's checked.
However, it wasn't so smooth as it meant to be. There were some incidents which caused security protocol to be updated, here are some of them.
Formatting of the list
Incident #: (number of incident)
Nickname: (nickname of incident, given by police itself)
Brief description: (description of what happened during incident)
Aftermaths: (brief description of incident's aftermath including fatalities, injuries and damages)
Security protocol update: (described security protocol update [if any])
Incident #:1
Nickname: "You'll never get me alive, kindergarten cop!"
Description: A Dutch 43 old male, member of mafia headshoted police officer by Glock 17 pistol, when he was asked by officer to show him his documents inside of tram KTM 31 on line T2 heading to Statenpolder. After this he fled from tram to the streets of Rijndam. The mafioso was later arrested and he is now in detention for murder (killed police officer in tram), assault and battery (tried to terminate a troublemaker, but failed, only severly injuring him), robbery (he robbed a gas station and jewerly store) and burglary (he broke into house at Nederdam, steailng jewerly and expensive stuff)
Aftemaths: 1 fatality (police officer headshoted by mafioso), No injuries, No damages
Security protocol update: After this incident the checking cop was equiped with taser. In case somebody wants to terminate him/her, he/she gives aggressor a strong shock, knocking him out. The guarding cop was equiped with shotgun instead of assault rifle.
Incident #: 2
Nickname: The bribed suicide driver
Description: During check of tram on line T1 consisting of 2 cars of KTM 23 heading to Station Buitenvelden, driver suddenly jabbed supervising police officer into face through the opened side window, shut the door (checking officer managed to get out of tram when he saw what happened to the supervising one) and crashed the tram into river (the guarding officer tried to stop the tram by shooting the tram's bogies, but without any effect). Luckilly driver survived and after recover during interrogiation he admitted, that he was bribed by 2 wanted members of motorbike gang to not letting them get arrested (they deceased during crash). The driver was proven guilty from genocide (he killed many passengers inside the tram), massive damages (the tram's electric circuits were busted because of water and front mask of front KTM 23 was completely wrecked when tram hit the bridge's pillar), and bodily injuries (some passengers survived but lost conciousness and driver jabbed supervising officer into face) and sentenced to the lifetime in jail. Also Sjoerd Ydema immediatelly fired the guilty driver from transport company.
Aftermath: 22 fatalities (passengers drowned in the river including 2 wanted members of the motorbike gang), 13 injuries (some passengers survived crash and didn't drowned but lost conciousness + supervising cop got jabbed into face resulting in broken nose, chipped teeth and dislocated lower jaw), 15 000 230 000 € of damages (KTM 23 electric circuit completely busted by water, front KTM 23's front mask completely wrecked and bridge pillar scratched by impact of the tram)
Security protocol update: After this incident, the guarding cop got authority to shoot the panto causing it to cease function or drop down, completely immobilizing the tram when neccesarry. In case of KTM and Canadian stock (Canadian stock not included in sim yet), the guarding cop has to shoot the joint of the panto to cause the pneumatic malfunction and force panto to drop down. In case of historic RET 400 stock, the guarding cop has to shoot the contact slide on top of the panto causing it to fell off and cease function of the panto. In case of Tatra T3 stock (not included in sim yet), the guarding cop has to shoot the holding rope in middle of the panto, causing panto to lose lift and drop down. After immobilizing the tram, the supervising cop got authority to pacify and arrest the driver and take them as a arrested wanted person. Also Sjoerd told drivers to not take anything from passengers.
Incident #: 3
Nickname: Hasta la vista! Baby!
Description: The driver of Toronto CLRV tram accidentally overran the stopping spot of the checkpoint and when he wanted to reverse back he forgot to change direction causing tram to go forward. The guarding officer evaluated that as a possible repeat of incident # 2 and shot the pantograph into joint with shotgun causing pneumatic malfunction and forcing pantograph to drop down, completely immobilizing the tram. After that the furious driver went out to ask guarding officer, why did he shoot the panto for. The guarding officer knocked down driver on the ground with right hook, aimed at driver's head with shotgun saying "Hasta la vista! Baby!" ready to blow driver's brain out, supervising officer noticed it and gave guard officer a strong shock stunning him and rescued injured and shocked driver. The damaged tram was later towed into Buitenvelden depot for fixing. During interrogiation of guarding officer, officer admited, that he suffers from PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) and when he shot the pantograph, PTSD attack kicked in, he went insane and wanted to kill someone and the poor driver was the first victim he got. Also he was sorry for injuring the driver and he was glad, that supervising officer stunned him. When he was asked, where did he got the phrase "Hasta la vista! Baby!" from, he answered, that he is a fan of Terminator franchise and this phrase is very known in Terminator franchise. The aggressive officer was fired from Dutch National Police and judged for bodily injuries (he right hooked the driver), and for police brutality (he wanted to kill driver under influence of PTSD attack), but he was proven insane and irresponsible for his crimes. Instead of jail, he was sent to the high security asylum in Simvliet where is he cured from his PTSD.
Aftermath: No fatalities, 1 injury (the poor driver got right hooked by a insane guarding cop under influence of PTSD attack), 50 000 € of damages (panto rendered inoperative after being shot by guarding cop).
Security protocol update: After this incident every cop meant to be send to the checkpoint is tested for phychological disorder, which can compromise safety like PTSD, Schizofrenia, Asocialistic disorder, Depression, ADHD (Attention deficit with hyperactivity disorder) etc. Also Sjoerd told drivers to stay still with the tram in case of overrun and wait for supervising cop to give them permission to reverse back.
So Loris, in your case in my PU. You should have to stay still with the tram and wait for supervising cop to give you permission to reverse back.
For everyone: I'll give you pictures later. I promise. But there won't be any pictures of the incidents.
it was an imprudent driver of the Tram line 1 who has driven since 8 month on Rjndam, he claimed knew the line perfectly but perfectly or not he was not strong at being vigilant, 2 month ago a accident with the same driver has voluntarily strike another Tram at Groene Hout causing by a bad vigilant.RotterdamMetroLover wrote: ↑26 Aug 2018, 14:56 Who was driving that tram? It wasn't Sjoerd for sure, so he is not banned. That driver should of been fired.
That's a horrible response time.
And the worst it's that the policeman has justify the time to come and say ( it's normal if we took a lot of time, because the police station is at Molenwijk )LosAngelesMetro56 wrote: ↑26 Aug 2018, 16:02That's a horrible response time.
I'd file a lawsuit on the Rijndam Police Department if they can't get there under 10 minutes. There should be more divisions around in each district of Rijndam if not already (Which is worse if there is a substation of the RPD nearby as they are slacking off).
