NS SLT

Post by Sjoerd »

A few weeks ago I asked you in a poll (viewtopic.php?p=35635#p35635) which train I should make for the simulator next, choises being the Dutch Railways SLT train, and the The Hague HTM Regiocitadis tram. The mayority voted for the Regiocitadis, so that became the next project.
But... I have also put some time into the SLT too ;)

Currently working on creating the interior, and putting the first objects into the simulator.

That's what I did some few years back when we had nothing but an AI freight train:

Plus we had Bursa 5200 and Rijndam Rail SG4 trains to tide over the mainline railway system, that's until MSB v3.15 came
out, and this is when proper mainline stock was introduced, but even then there were still 5200 trains back then.

Question Sjoerd, are you going to make a repaint version of the SLT or not? Will it be fun?

I think this train will just get two variants; the 4-part version and the 6-part version. There have never been other outside liveries for this train, so a repaint-version isn't really worth the extra effort it takes to create it.

A testdrive on the line to Rijndam Airport, to test some functions of the newly created drivers desk;
