Here's a video showing the current breadboard setup of the hardware control panel. Two rotary encoders used to control direction and throttle, works for type T and B (T had one drive stand, B has a range), a button for the doors, digital speedometer and the ATB lamps on top.

The rotary encoders also act as buttons, right one sends the confirm deadman command on press, just as the throttle stick in type B does. Long press is used to enable or disable the cab and double click switches between cab 1 and two.
