In 2017, the station buildings were demolished and access to the site remained impossible,[14][15] but a daily service continued to call at the station, albeit barred from passenger use, until early 2019 when it was suspended due to engineering works.[5][14]

I live very close to Newhaven Marine. It's virtually nothing now. It's scheduled to become a dump at some point

They're closing it legally soon but it has been "opened" for a long while. Well... if you consider a ghost train "open"

On the morning of the 1st of May 2020, the Simvliet Airport Shuttle is waiting for departure from Simvliet Centraal. The Shuttle always keeps running, even during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, and during Pentecost.
