The Tilted Class 47

Post by Donut »

Hello all

i hope everyone is having a great day today and everyone is safe in these tough times.

Sooo while in a cruise with the class 47 in the Simvliet 2020 Map , between Simvliet Haven and Central i stopped at a red signal due to a freight train coming through , whilst waiting i looked out the train and i uhhh noticed the train a bit wonky.

i think Sjoerd added a bit of tilt action for a smoother ride ;)

Just a fun quirky thingy <3

Thanks Sjoerd, you could do a fictive class 47 with tilt and a real one with no tilt 😂

Well, I thought, it's not in game yet aswell.

Either way, this reminds me of a good old times in Trainz with this locomotive, when, as a small boy, I used to make a very long train with this locomotive hauling it, Then placing it on a track with frequent single and double tracks, and when it was going through the splitting junction (in the way from single track to double track), I waited for train to be halfway through the junction and flipped the switch. It was hilarious to see that derailed locomotive busting through terrain, sometimes cars, it hauled, even hit it and pushed it a bit. Or I placed this train on a map where is dead end track, and ran it at full speed against buffer, smashing buffer to pieces and watching derailed locomotive busting through terrain. In one case, I made the locomotive fall down from a high mountain, wrecking it when it landed at the base of the mountain. And many ways I "abused" this locomotive. Just for my amusement.
If you want to make a very fast ride, just disable ATB/ZUB, put trottle to 1.00 and enjoy.
