Release: VT98 Schienenbus

This is the release of the German VT98 Schienenbus (Railbus), usable in Metrosimulator 3.15 or higher.



Created in the 1950's, the cheap construction and exploitation of these trains saved many lines with low passenger numbers from closing.
They were also used to save on locomotives, as they where strong enough to also take along a few freight wagons (hence a separate diesel
locomotive was not needed).

INSTALLATION:
-----------------
-> Copy "VT98.000" to the folder where Metrosimulator.exe is located.
-> Copy the folder "Data" to the same location. This contains an activity for Rijndam 2022 (v1.4) using this train.


DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS:
-----------------------------

1. Enter the driver position in the direction of travel (click on the prefered end of the vehicle).
2. Open the driver desk cover -> Shift+X
3. Activate the cab -> Ctrl+F4
4. Activate the diesel engine -> Ctrl+E
5. When you have a green signal, close the doors (-> D) and depart!

When changing driving directions, you may leave the engines 'on' when shutting of the cab.
Don't forget to close the driver desk cover when you leave the cab (-> Shift+X)!

Notes:
--------

• The train has been fitted with ATB-E (ATB "Eenvoudig", simple version) in order to be usable on the Rijndam en Simvliet railway networks.
  This system enforces maximum speed, but does so in the background (so no deadmen-switch buzzer every 30 seconds). I did however build in the red pointer on the outside edge of the speedometer, to show for which speed the system recieves a signal.
  If no signal is recieved (for example; you are not on a track with ATB trainprotection), then it will by default enforce a maximum speed of 40 km/h.
• The train is 3 meters wide. It will NOT fit along metro platforms. So keep to the railway lines.
• This train does not have door protection; you can drive with the doors open (only; doors can not be opened while the vehicle is in motion).

• Shift+X: open/close drivers desk cover
• Ctrl+X: open/close windows
• Ctrl+Shift+X: open/close WC door

From VT98 Triebwagen / motorcar, cabposition 2 (driver position):

• Shift+X: open/close drivers desk cover
• Ctrl+X: Change passenger seats direction

From VB98 Beiwagen / trailercar, cabposition 1:

• Ctrl+X: open/close windows
• Ctrl+Shift+X: open/close WC door

From VB98 Beiwagen / trailercar, cabposition 2:

• Ctrl+X: Change passenger seats direction

From VB98 Beiwagen 'Dienst' / trailercar with bagage area, cabposition 1:

• Shift+X: open/close windows
• Ctrl+X: Change passenger seats direction
• Ctrl+Shift+X: open/close WC door

From VB98 Beiwagen 'Dienst' / trailercar with bagage area, cabposition 2:

• Ctrl+X: open/close door between bagage area and passenger compartment

From VS98 Steuerwagen / drivercar (without motor), cabposition 1:

• Shift+X: open/close windows
• Ctrl+X: Change passenger seats direction
• Ctrl+Shift+X: open/close WC door

From VS98 Steuerwagen / drivercar (without motor), cabposition 2 (driver position):

• Shift+X: open/close drivers desk cover
• Ctrl+X: open/close door between bagage area and passenger compartment

I noticed a bug: If you press button 9 (free camera) while driving and the train has passed the camera, you can still hear the rolling sound of the train.

@Sjoerd: If you would mind, in "Rijndam" topic, I mentioned another czech rolling stock, which could be suitable with Metrosim and is very similiar to VT98 Schienenbus. Look here if you missed it.

That blue-white model has some potential (so it could become a future project), but at the moment I prefer to do some route-building again first

Can ATP be disabled in this train? I always run with ATP disabled but it doesn't turn off on this.
