They don’t have to move, just because it looks better than empty stations and streets

The Metrosimulator game engine has a limit to he amount of objects that can be placed in a map.
Rijndam is already pushing the limits of the object count, Sjoerd had to remove signs from the tramstops to compensate for the new content iirc.

That was not a game engine issue. It was an availability of objects issue; for the station signs, there are 100 available (100 object files refering to 100 texture files). I can place 2000 signs in the network if I like to do so, but they still refer to 100 texture files, so a maximum of 100 station names can be shown.
That should be enough for any map, but Rijndam has grown a bit..... :roll:

"Small bit." He's referring to the length of the map too, not just the lines.

Oh...Thanks for explaining that, I thought it was a game issue.
