The drivers cab of the 1973 stock, work in progress, featuring;
  • In-cab destination display
  • ATB display on the toblerone screen (showing the ATB signals like you see them in the SG3 cab)
  • Simplified ATB indicators next to the speedometer
  • Speedometer in km/h to match with the recieved RET ATB signals in the simulator.
  • Left/right door indicators
  • Moving cab controls
Image

I might still decide to translate both the displayed ATB speeds and speedometer to mph, as that would be more accurate to this train.

Finally! Waited a long time for a completely made-from-scratch driver’s cab. And that’s Glasgow, right?

The basic shape finds its origin in a sketchup object, just like the outside and passenger compartment. But I am doing everything I can to make it interactive for the best driving experience. ;)

And yes; that is Glasgow, the depot area. :)

Nice work Sjoerd! ;)

So, you won't use repainted SG2 in Glasgow, as it is mentioned in the Wiki?

And will the displays text being translated into English?
Greetings from Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal.

This looks quite nice, as when a map editor releases, I'll be able to create a London-themed map!
