Re: Rijndam
The tracks at the Station Blaak depot have been extended by about 6 meters within the available space. This will make it possible to use each track to store two 5-car Russian subway trains. Not 6-car as I had planned; that did not fit (this depot needs to hold 6-8 trains on 4 tracks).

Re: Rijndam
It has been done, in Rijndam 2006, 2018 and 2020. The sidings are defined as station "RDCO" (Rijndam Centraal - Opstel), and platform definitions are the same as the track numbers in the CVL (S11, S12....).
Available in 3.13 .

Re: Rijndam
A new rolling stock type, with a different train length, also needs it's own stop markers. Inspired on a Helsinki drivers eye view video, and nice fitting as they are blue (just like the train) but don't clash with the RET markers (which also stay in place):

Re: Rijndam
Yes they will.
Re: Rijndam
These new stopmarkers have been placed on all stations reachable by this rolling stock (also on line M1/M2/M3 stations in the 3rd rail parts).
But yes; I am building the 81-717 into M6 and M4 activities at the moment. But for those who prefer the SG3; I will also still provide SG3 activities for those lines (the same ones, but with the RET rolling stock)

Re: Rijndam
What contract is the M4 and M6 upgrades and 81-717/714 stock under? Is it under the Rail Renaissance Contract?

This is now a dead account.

Just the management of the Rijndam Electrical Transport company (me ) deciding the rolling stock reserves are too small (there are not enough SG3 metro's available to run all services at full length if required), and calling around to colleague transport companies to find out if compatible rolling stock can be found on short notice. Ordering a factory-new train takes too long.
As Moscow is replacing the older units of this type, they where happy to sell some and send them to Rijndam.
At first they where only planned for line M6, but testruns showed they also do really well on M4 (with their many doors per car, longitude seating meaning high passenger capacity, and 90 km/h top speed), so they will be used there as well.

I just found an overhead wire floating in the air, above the empty space in the right side of the B03 track at Bergenseweg depot.

It's a glitch on the sim itself.
