Line M1 will still run every 10 min, same with the M4. M2 and M3 are going to have 7,5 min interval. M5 will have a 15 min interval. That's for 2018. For 1985 idk. Sjoerd knows that.

Rijndam 1985:
-> Molenwijk - Station Westplein every 10 min.
-> Central Station - Station Westplein every 10 min (so every 5min together).
-> Noorderpoort - Ketelplein every 5 min.

Rijndam 2018:
-> M1: Every 10 min
-> M2: Every 7,5 min
-> M3: Every 7,5 min
-> M4: Every 10 min
-> M5: Every 15 min
-> Airport Shuttleservice: Every 7,5 min

Rijndam 2018 Sunday:
-> All lines every 15 min, except Airportshuttle, which is serviced by the airport and remains at every 7,5 min.

Was there an Airport Shuttle back in 1985? Just curious. I wonder who funded the route. ;)

No, the airport shuttle was made somewhere in the 2000s. So there where buses.

Indeed; I removed the Airport shuttle tracks and tunnels when I was building Rijndam 1985.
However, the surface scenery has not been removed; the buildings and roads I did not bother to remove. The same goes for Station Westplein - Rijnland Hospital and Ketelplein - Monument.

There where still making the lines from Rijnland Ziekenhuis-Station Westplein and Monument-Ketelplein back in 1985 and it was finished in 1987 to Monument, the centre loop in 1993 and to Rijnland Ziekenhuis 1988 and to Airport/Panbos 2006.

In Rijndam 1985 there's the Rijndam Airport station, but no trains running on railway tracks, so I believe there would be a bus service from Rijndam Airport to city center, and even Westplein station.

No, you're totally wrong. There is a train that goes to Noorderpoort station and you can change there for the metro.

In Rijndam 2018, a new set of switches have been added, near Westpoort. These switches make it possible to use Westpoort as a terminus coming from the city centre, for example in case of maintanence works. It is now possible to depart towards the city centre from track 2, and use these switches to get back to the right track (pun intended :D ).

The track to the right on the picture is the line to CS via Garenmarkt; I could not place the new switches between the station and this line, due to the small S-curve located there.

I have already build an activity using these new switches. ;)

Technically, the buses were the shuttles. :mrgreen:
