From my personal experience, it is prefered less seats and more space for the passengers, luggage included...

I'll use the open space for bike racks instead of luggage.
This is now a dead account.

As the platforms are build for 4-carriage trains, using a 3-carriage train which can only run as a single unit would be a waste of platform capacity.
Perhaps this is what we need; SG2/2 rolling stock :D
Too bad I have no clue about how to pakkage it into a 000-file

No; 2 and 3 together is too long. Remember; the platforms on this line are only 60 meters long. ;)

Didn't you say all the scripts and stuff are still hidden away in the "mysterious" .000 archives in the editor version? Anyways, for the use on the airport transit it would probably not be bad to remove the panthographs, as those wouldn't have any use. To bad there can not be an Rijndam airport version of it as it looks like the textures are compiled with the meshes from reading through the train values in the archive file.

Not a good idea, what if you have to rotate trains between depots? You can no longer use those ones in the mainline.
